Teddy Walsh

Pop, R&B and Electronic Producer, Artist and Songwriter

I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember.

Music was always a huge part of my life because of my parents, who are worship leaders at our local church, and fans of many different genres. However, it wasn’t until my middle school years, when I was working as a professional voice over actor, that my true passion was ignited. While recording for the Nickelodeon show Bubble Guppies, I was lucky enough to be engineered by the same man who wrote, and produced all of the music for the show. Not only did I think that he was incredibly fun, but I was enamored by watching him engineer, tune, and produce my vocals, while also working with the various other instrumental parts that he’d created for these songs. His choice to graciously show me the ropes of his work opened a door into a mysterious world that I had never seen before, in which I could express my musical ideas to the best of my ability, and have complete control over the way in which my ideas would be framed. This new world was the world of music production, and from that moment on, I became obsessed with learning everything there is to know about it! Since then, I’ve blended my passions for singing and production with my newfound love for songwriting, and I work tirelessly to express myself through my own original music, and my production for other artists as well.

Teddy Walsh started his career as a professional child actor, working in the realms of theater, film, television, and primarily voice over. Having had a role in The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, the Broadway musical Soul Doctor, and various animated children’s television shows—most notably the Nickelodeon show Bubble Guppies—Teddy had already worked in the entertainment industry for ten years by the time he was done with high school. However, during his time working as a voice over actor, he was given the opportunity to observe professional audio engineers and music producers on a regular basis. Through these experiences, one thing became abundantly clear to him: though he loved singing, and performing in the theater, there was nothing that enamored him more than the art of music production. Starting from the time that he was in sixth grade, Teddy began learning to write and produce his own music, and refined these skills through his high school years. Chasing this passion led him to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he is currently a dual degree student, studying under both the Music Production & Engineering and the Electronic Production & Design departments. During his time at Berklee, he has released an original, self-produced EP, as well as a constant stream of short musical ideas on his Soundcloud, often accompanied by self-made visuals on his Instagram. Through all of this, he is simultaneously producing music for fellow Berklee artists, and is also currently gearing up towards the release of his debut album, set to be released this Fall!
